Closest Black Hole to Earth – There are  many black holes in our galaxy, the Milky Way.

At the center of the Milky Way is a giant black hole  we call a supermassive black hole.

This black hole at the center of the Milky Way is called Sagittarius-A.

Its mass is 4 million times that of the Sun and is 26,000 light-years from our Earth.

This means that if we traveled at the speed of light, it would take us 26,000 years to reach this black hole.

The diameter of Sagittarius-A is 2 crore 350,000 km, you can guess the size of this black hole.

In addition, there are many large and small  black holes in our galaxy.

TON-618 is so massive that its mass is equivalent to that of 66 billion Suns.

This black hole is located in the constellation Canes Venatici.

Many people think that HR-6819 is the closest black hole to Earth,  just 1,000 light-years away, but later it was known that this is not a black hole.
