Combination of Ultracet
Ultracet is a combination of two medicines which contains Tramadol (37.5 mg) and Acetaminophen (325 mg)
Tramadol – Tramadol is a pain killer that acts on opioid receptors.
Tramadol blocks the pain signal coming out of the central nervous system (brain) so that the patient doesn’t feeling pain.
Tramadol starts showing its effect within an hour. The effect of Tramadol lasts up to 6 hours
Acetaminophen – It is an antipyretic drug that inhibits the release of pyrogens by the brain, due to which the body temperature does not rise.
Apart from this, it also acts as a pain reliever because it blocks the COX enzyme. Because of this, we do not feel pain.
How to Take Ultracet
Ultracet should be taken only after eating something. It should never be eaten on an empty stomach, otherwise, it can cause problems.
